- DeGen – Short for “degenerate,” someone who takes high-risk bets in crypto, often on meme coins or NFTs.
- Jeet – A trader who sells early out of fear or greed, typically causing others to panic. Often used insultingly.
- FOMO – Fear Of Missing Out. The urge to buy into a pump or trend too late.
- FUD – Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt. Negative sentiment or rumors meant to shake holders.
- WAGMI – “We’re All Gonna Make It.” A rallying cry of optimism in the face of losses or volatility.
- NGMI – “Not Gonna Make It.” Used to describe bad trades, poor decisions, or someone ignoring the meta.
- Rugpull (Rug) – A scam in which devs or insiders dump or remove liquidity, leaving others with worthless tokens.
- Bagholder – Someone stuck holding a worthless or severely down asset.
- Pump and Dump – Coordinated hype followed by a mass selloff. Often done by insiders or whales.
- Shill – To promote a coin, often aggressively or dishonestly.
- Exit Liquidity – New buyers who enter at the top, providing sellers a chance to cash out.
- Sniper Bot – An automated bot that buys a token the moment it’s launched to gain an early entry advantage.
- Alpha – Valuable, often insider-level information not known to the public.
- GigaChad – A legendary trader who makes bold plays that pay off. Also used sarcastically.

- Pump.fun – A Solana-based meme coin launchpad with built-in tokenomics and tiered liquidity stages.
- DEXScreener – A tool to track decentralized exchange prices, volumes, and trends.
- Bubblemaps – A visual tool to explore wallet connections and token holdings, revealing suspicious activity or centralization.
- CoinGecko – A coin data aggregator used to track prices, volumes, market cap, and token metrics.
- Tokenomics & Trading
- FDV – Fully Diluted Valuation. Market cap assuming all tokens are in circulation.
- Circulating Supply – Number of tokens currently in public hands.
- Max Supply – The total number of tokens that can ever exist.
- Vol/Mkt Cap – Volume to Market Cap ratio. A high ratio can indicate strong activity.
- Liquidity Pool (LP) – Funds locked in a DEX to allow token trading. Removing LP = soft rug.
- Slippage – The difference between expected and actual trade price due to low liquidity or volatility.
- Market Cap – Total value of a cryptocurrency = Price × Circulating Supply.
- Fair Launch – A project with no pre-mine, private sale, or early insider advantage.
- Lore & Meta
- Cursed Coin – A meme coin abandoned or rugged, often left to rot — or get revived by bots.
- Meme Gainz – Profits made purely off hype or internet meme energy.
- Church of GAINZ – A fictional crypto cult founded by BabyBilly and 8BallBilly to preach meme coin profits.
- Candle King – A title given to BabyBilly for his wild, volatile chart movements (candles).
- Spirit of GAINZ – A mythical source of crypto profit and trading hype.
- Magic 8Ball (8BallBilly) – BabyBilly’s mystical guide who secretly builds on Sui.
- Solana Drank – BabyBilly’s favorite fictional drink (purple Solana in a double cup).
- Culture & Psychology
- Ape/Ape In – To jump into a coin or NFT project quickly, often without doing research.
- REKT – Wrecked. A total financial loss due to a bad trade or rug.
- Hopium – False hope or irrational optimism about a project’s future.
- DYOR – Do Your Own Research. Often said as a disclaimer, even when shilling.
- Gaslighting – Common in crypto groups. Making others feel crazy for spotting red flags.
- Exit Pump – A final surge in price used to lure in exit liquidity before a rug.
